*STEP 1:
Log in your Gmail account where you want to transfer your Yahoo account.
*STEP 2:
On the upper right corner of the uyour Gmail account click the Gear-icon which is the settings. Then click See all settings.
*STEP 3:
Under this settings, click the tab Accounts and Import
and under the Accounts and Import, click Import mail and contacts.
*STEP 4:
Enter the Yahoo account you want to transfer in your Gmail account.
*STEP 5:
If you are agree on the migration process, click Agree.
*STEP 6:
Click Start Import. As soon as u clicked it the importing process will start.
Note: it will take several hours or sometimes 2 days before you can see imported messages.
( in my case it took me more or less 2 hours then i started seeing imported messages in my Gmail account and boom! All transferred. )

Hi bliss can i ask how am i going to retrieve my yahoomail account?..my phone was robbed and the only account key i put is my phone number, and my account wont ask for password because of the setting i did.. is it possible retrieve it?

This explains how to import email, but it does not link your yahoo email to gmail. Meaning that after the import is done (after the initial 30 day period) email will stop syncing.
